Children Homes of Mission 180
Our journey to Kenya began with a heartfelt visit to the Mission 180 children’s homes. We connected with the children through shared activities and laughter, bringing clothes and other essentials to support their daily needs. One of our proudest accomplishments was the creation of a vibrant playground, funded through months of dedicated fundraising. This playground has become a source of joy and play for the children, fostering a sense of community and happiness.
Maasai Villages
Next, we ventured into the Maasai villages, where we were warmly welcomed and had the opportunity to learn about their unique lifestyle of living off the land. The Maasai people shared their traditions, resilience, and deep connection to nature with us. In return, we brought essential supplies such as rice, sugar, and tea to support their daily lives. This cultural exchange enriched our understanding and appreciation of their way of life.
