Successmaker uses a program called "Java" to deliver all of its content, graphics and sounds. Currently, Successmaker will only work with Java version 6. This summer, we will be upgrading the system.

In the meantime, here is a link to Java 6 update 22 (tested and working). Thanks for bearing with us!

Sometimes Java can become disabled, or even blocked by your computer (especially with the older versions). Here are some tips on getting Java to work again.

First, ensure that Java is allowed to pass through Windows Firewall. If you have another firewall, like McAfee, you will have to consult with your user manual or your Firewall's technical support.

For Windows Vista and Windows 7, do the following.

Step 1 - Open The Control Panel from the start menu

Step 2 - In the category View, click "System and Security" (click the image to enlarge)

Step 3 - Under the Windows Firewall Section, Select "Allow a program through windows firewall"

Step 4 - Make sure that "Java (TM) Platform SE" is checked for Private Networks and Public networks. You will have to click the "change settings" button to make the change. (click the image to enlarge)

If the above does not work, you can also try the following:
