Welcome to Mountain Christian School!

We are a multi-denominational, provincially accredited, ACSI affiliated independent Christian school. MCS was founded on a vision of providing Dawson Creek Christian families with an outstanding Christ-centered alternative to the public school system. It is our aim and goal to continue this vision as we unite with families to provide not just Christian education, but superb Christian education to our students.

In the 30 years since our inception, Mountain Christian school has gone through many changes (including a name change - we were formally Bethel Christian School). After sharing a building with our namesake, Bethel Pentecostal Church for 28 years, MCS acquired the old Park Hill Building on 5th street. The years since have been filled with excitement and anticipation about the plan God has for our school. We look forward to many more decades of supporting Christian families in the academic, personal, social, physical and spiritual development of their children!

God Bless!

MCS Cares!

Christian Love is about much more than feelings. The highest form of Love that the Bible speaks about is "agape" love (That is, other-centered love). This kind of love takes maturity and great humility. It boils down to a choice that we make to put others ahead of ourselves. To Love another person in this way means to be patient, kind, and humble toward them. To love this way also means to refuse to keep a scorecard of wrongs. Rather, agape Love forgives, and restores whenever possible.

But it also holds each of us accountable, for to choose not to love in this way can cause great harm. At Mountain Christian School, we are committed to creating and maintaining a school that is safe for all students. At our school, all students should feel loved and accepted; and never as 'lesser than'. If you are feeling put down or 'lesser than' at school, send a confidential email. We can help!
